Welcome
Ruah was born in The Republic of Lithuania. Growing up in the USSR,
from the age of 10 Ruah studied in The School of Fine Arts in her hometown Klaipeda at the coast of the Baltic Sea. Since emigration Ruah worked with a theater and studied directing. After a few years of touring Ruah became involved as an interpreter in the conflict resolution and law enforcement. Currently Ruah lives in South California and undergoing film and animation studies at CalArts (California Institute of the Arts).

Ruah: - "I was always interested in the human condition, in greatest pleasure and greatest suffering of the human soul, and in story. For me art, even at the highest level, is only a means and not a self-achieving purpose or destination to arrive at."

Ruah's first short animated film "The Bond" was completed in April 2008. The film is produced at CalArts at the Character Animation department and can be VIEWED HERE
Currently Ruah is working on a new short "Tomorrow", which will be completed in late spring 2009.
Ruah's works were previously signed using the name of D. KoZLOVSKAJA.
